Janice Zaltman, GREEN, LEED AP BD+C, specializes in marketing architect-designed waterfront and investment property with United Realty Group. She works in markets across South Florida, including Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Palm Beach County.

As a GREEN Designee, you were exposed to Appraisal Institute’s Green and Energy Efficient Appraisal Addendum in your training, where you learned that its purpose is to alert the buyer’s lender and appraiser that the home has additional features and value they might not be aware of.
Howard M. Katchen, GREEN, an Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker Realty, Studio City, CA, got his first taste of sustainability and green living at an Earth Day celebration during high school. Hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture came a bit later while he lived on an Israeli kibbutz.
