There’s a moment of satisfaction – even joy – when homeowners wrap up a home painting project.  

Then they look at the row of half-used paint cans and wonder how they’re going to toss them in an environmentally responsible way.

We’re in the EverGreen Award home stretch. 

We will be accepting nominations until July 31st, and we’ll pick this year’s winners at the start of August. 
 
The award is the Green REsource Council’s way to recognize you – GRC members – who are doing the hard day-to-day work to make green a part of your business model, bring clients into the fold and introduce green concepts to your community. 

When Deidre "Dee" Omahen, GREEN, of KW Atlantic Partners Southside, Ponte Vedra, FL, toured a LEED-certified building in Chicago about 20 years ago, it sparked a passion for learning about green buildings and green living. 

George Tully, GREEN, a Chicago-based REALTOR®, has been a real estate agent with @properties since 2014.

In recent years, he’s been building his green business niche and working on getting more Chicago real estate practitioners to learn about and embrace sustainability.

After reviewing EverGreen Award nominations for the last 12 years, we’ve noticed a common thread among many nominees and winners. 

They often question whether they’ve done enough to deserve recognition.
