GRC Members Get Top Billing in REALTOR® Magazine 

Sustainability and NAR Green Designees got top billing in REALTOR® Magazine’s latest issue. Three stories, Setting Your Sights on Sustainability, Learning to Love EVs, and Under All Is Water, featured GRC members. They talked about everything from protecting water resources and loving EV cars to how they started down the green path. 

After spending 20-plus years as a building energy engineer and sustainability consultant, Joan Gregerson, GREEN, a REALTOR® with eXp Realty in Denver, earned her real estate license in 2021 and her NAR Green Designation in 2022.

Every year since the inception of RESNET’s (Residential Energy Services Network) Home Energy Rating System (HERS®) Index, the group has seen a rise in the number of homes with the HERS rating.

The group, which provides a miles-per-gallon-style score to rate the energy efficiency of homes, recorded its 3-millionth HERS Rated home last year.
