Catherine Krueger

I was born and raised in Provence, France and came to the US in 1993 to teach French at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and finally moved permanently to the Bay Area in 1996. I’ve lived in Lafayette, Berkeley, and Kensington before settling in El Cerrito. I am married to Sam Krueger, a loan broker and have two wonderful daughters and several rescued animals. Outside of real estate you will find me skiing in Tahoe or in Utah or hiking the local trails and traveling to France to visit my family. Why Catherine? Community services: Current member of the Climate Action Committee. Current member of the Seniors Resource Committee. Past member of the Berkeley Association of Realtors local government relations committee and Grievance committee (dealing with ethics issues among Realtors). Past Chair for the Crime Prevention Committee with the city of El Cerrito. Former president of the Board of Directors of BAARC (Bay Area Animal Rescue Coalition) and former volunteer at Berkeley Animal Shelter. All my animals have been rescue animals. On-going volunteer for environmental organizations and site coordinator for Earth Day with the city of El Cerrito. Co-published a book named "World Affairs organizations in Northern California" with a non-profit organization called World Without War Council in Berkeley. My dream is to buy a castle in France where I grew up and travel around the world to new places and go heli-skiing again before I am too old.
