Bob Hart

Bob Hart is currently the Association Executive for the Santa Barbara Association of REALTORS®. He had been a real estate Broker for over 25 years and has always had a passion for teaching. He spends his nights and weekends remodeling homes and does them with loads of Green Features. Due to his combined experiences, he has developed an expertise in Green Real Estate. He chaired the Green Task Force for the California Association of REALTORS®, Served on the Global Climate Change Policy Presidential Advisory Group for NAR and served as their Executive Branch Advocate to the US Dept. of Energy and as their Liaison to the US Green Building Council. He was on the Board of Directors of the California Home Energy Efficiency Rating Services (CHEERS), and he is an instructor for the NAR Green Designation Course. For his efforts he has been awarded the President’s Award from CAR and the Distinguished Service Award from the NAR Green Resource Council. He and his wife, “walk the walk” by living a very Green lifestyle. From his personal experiences and his depth of knowledge, Bob not only explains Green Building and how REALTORS can utilize this knowledge to enhance their careers, but he also shows his students how to save hundreds of dollars per year through energy and resource efficiencies. Many of Bob’s students have told him that his course was a “life changing event” for them.
