I have lived in Redondo Beach as a homeowner since 1980, and I’m always excited to do business anywhere in the South Bay - the Beach Cities, Torrance, and the Palos Verdes Peninsula. However, working with investors, and with foreclosures in the past, many projects have taken me quite a bit further from home! In addition to that, much of my business comes from past clients, family, and friend’s referrals – so that could be anywhere! I find the 'fix and flip' business to be interesting, and when a house is taken from 'serious fixer' status to 'newly remodeled' it's a great accomplishment. At that point, a new buyer can purchase the property with a new loan and move in, creating a home for their family and so it’s a ‘win-win’ situation for everyone. A home is usually a person’s largest single asset; and investment properties can create passive cash flow for retirement. Now that’s worth working for!! Helping Sellers gives me a chance to use my marketing skills, but beyond that I always remember that we’re in someone’s home. To that end, I have a host of referrals to help present your home in its best light for selling – from stagers and Feng Shui experts and photographers to painters and landscapers. I even ordered new doormats recently to keep my listings as clean as possible during Open Houses. Working with Buyers gives me the opportunity to search for a house that they can call ‘home.’ I enjoy the challenge of finding just the right neighborhood - fulfilling a buyer’s needs with regards to schools, commute to work, transportation, or a walkability.com score. I also have the National Association of Realtors Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation. What does that mean? It's more than alphabet soup! It means that I have a special interest in these areas and have taken classes for the designations. From first time buyers to those who are downsizing - all aspects of the business are exciting to say the least.
