George Tully, GREEN, a Chicago-based REALTOR®, has been a real estate agent with @properties since 2014.

In recent years, he’s been building his green business niche and working on getting more Chicago real estate practitioners to learn about and embrace sustainability.

Every year, the GRC staff looks forward to EverGreen Award season. 

It’s our chance to hear members’ unique stories, how they came to embrace green, and to learn about the initiatives and projects they’re working on to advance the green building industry in their communities. 

Janice Zaltman, GREEN, LEED AP BD+C, specializes in marketing architect-designed waterfront and investment property with United Realty Group. She works in markets across South Florida, including Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Palm Beach County.       
    
Her mission is to be the green voice of real estate.  

As a GREEN Designee, you were exposed to Appraisal Institute’s Green and Energy Efficient Appraisal Addendum in your training, where you learned that its purpose is to alert the buyer’s lender and appraiser that the home has additional features and value they might not be aware of.
 

When you’re making the case that sustainability matters, that it’s growing, and that the real estate industry and consumers are embracing it, people may look for statistics that support such assertions.
